The honorary star award for television is given by PMPC to recognize long-time television personalities for their lifetime achievements within the television industry in the Philippines.

Angeles rose to fame in 1963 for her roles in Trudis Liit and Eskwelahang Munti, among others. In 1983, Angeles became one of the hosts of Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko, the longest-running public service program in the country.

With a calling to serve, Angeles joined the SM Foundation in 2001 and has been leading its health and wellness programs.

Just a year in the foundation, Angeles and her team renovated the very first Felicidad Sy Pediatric Ward at the East Avenue Medical Center, pursuing the vision of making people change the way they think, feel, and behave towards health facilities.

With Angeles at the helm of the Health and Wellness pillar, SM Foundation has renovated more than 170 health and wellness centers and served over one million patients during its medical missions to date.
