Silang students get free school supplies
SILANG, Cavite — Students of this town received free school bags and school supplies on September 12, 2022.
Mayor Kevin Anarna and Cavite 5th District Board Member Marcus Amutan led the distribution of school supplies to kinder to Grade 6 students during the launching and simple program held at the Bagong Buhay Elementary School in Barangay Bulihan.
Around 4,500 students of the biggest public grade school in this locality were the first of around 35,000 public elementary to receive the school bags.
“Ipagpaumanhin po, medyo na-delay po ang pagbibigay ng mga school supplies para sa ating mga mag-aaral. Asahan ninyo po next year aagahan na po namin ang pagbili at proseso ng pagbili para maibigay na nagad sa mga mag-aaral ang mga supplies na ito.” said Anarna.
“Lahat po ng mag-aaral po ng public elementary school dito ay may libre, kahit po hindi residente dito sa Silang, lahat po sila ay makakatanggap nito, basta po mag-aaral dito sa Silang,” Anarna added.
