Sikyu found hanging dead from ceiling in Navotas
A 34-YEAR-OLD security guard was found hanging lifeless from the ceiling of a fishnet warehouse Thursday morning in Navotas City.
Navotas police chief P/Col. Dexter Ollaging said the lifeless body of the security guard of SAS Shipyard located in Brgy. San Jose, and with given address at Hda Sta Maria I Brgy. E Lopez, Silay City Negros Occidental was discovered by shipyard employee Orlando Samson at around 5:50 a.m.
Samson told case investigator P/SSgt. Levi Salazar that he was about to go inside the warehouse when he saw tje security guard hanging from the ceiling with a nylon cord looped around his neck.
The witness immediately sought the assistance of colleagues and they later reported the incident to the police.
Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) led by P/Maj. Avelino Andaya responded to the area to process the body of the victim before transferring the cadaver to the facility of Nate Funeral homes for autopsy examination to determine if there is foul play involved.
