WHAT’S the latest on the country’s preparations for the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam on May 12-23?

PSC Commissioner and SEA Games chef de mission Ramon Fernandez will provide the answers in the “Sports on Air Weekly” program via Zoom on Friday, Jan. 28.

Fernandez, nicknamed “El Presidente” during his playing days in the PBA, is expected to give an update on the country’s preparations during the 10:30 a.m. program.

This is the third episode of “Sports on Air Weekly”, the newest sports program managed by veteran sports journalists Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight, Ernest Leo Hernandez of SOA, Gerard Arce of Bulgar, Ivan Saldajeno of Philippine News Agency and Gab Ferreras of Sports PH.

Past “Sports on Air” guests were PBA commissioner Willie Marcial and Samahang Weightlifting ng Pilipinas president Monico Puentevella last Jan. 14; and Games and Amusements Board chairman Baham Mitra and Philippine Olympic Committee chairman Steve Hontiveros last Jan. 28.

The weekly sports program is being livestreamed through Sports on Air Facebook page and YouTube channel as well as Sports PH page.
