THE Supreme Court (SC), thru the Office of the 2022 Bar Chairperson, announced that local testing centers (LTCs) in 14 provinces and cities all over the country had been selected for this year’s Bar Examinations.

In Bar Bulletin No. 7, S.2022, signed by SC Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, chairperson of the 2022 Bar exams, the following shall be the LTCs: National Capital Region (NCR) – Northern Manila, Southern Manila, Pasay City, Quezon City, and Taguig City.

For Luzon: Baguio City, Benguet; Lipa City, Batangas; and Naga City, Camarines Sur.

The Visayas: Northern Cebu City, Southern Cebu City, and Tacloban City, Leyte.

Mindanao: Cagayan de Oro City, Davao City, and Zamboanga City.

The SC reiterated that the selection and assignment of a bar candidate’s testing site are on a first-come, first-served basis, which are applicants who submitted their applications and paid the Bar fees earlier.

Also, the high court said that each batch of unconditionally and conditionally approved bar candidates will receive two notifications in their Bar Personal Login Unified System (Bar PLUS)-registered email address: An email notification informing them that their applications to take the 2022 Bar Examinations have been approved; and an email notification informing them that the venue selection module is available in their Bar PLUS accounts.

Once a bar candidate submits his or her venue choice, the submission shall be final and irrevocable.

The venue selection module will close on September 19, 2022. Failure to select a venue will constitute a waiver on the part of the bar candidate, who will then be assigned to an exam venue based on the remaining slots in any exam venue in the province or region nearest his or her present address.
