SBCA turns 40
“It’s a Great Ruby Year”
SAINT Bernadette College of Alabang Inc., a private tri-level educational institution in Muntinlupa City, celebrates its 40th founding Anniversary this February of 2023. With the theme “RISE: Rallying for Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence”, the four-day celebration shall commence February 8, and shall end on February 11.
February 8, (First day) The day shall start with a motorcade of students, faculty members of the different key departments of the institution to be followed by a grand launch program and the opening of Intramurals 2023 at the SBCA Quadrangle. Fun and festivities await everyone in SBCA’s Foundation Week celebration. Activities and booths abound anew in this annual event that celebrates the college’s history, its rally to innovation, sustainable programs and the pursuit of excellence.
Aside from school-based projects, the parent council will lead the holding of Mr. & Ms. SBCA 2023 and the re-staging of the SBCA hit musical play by the SBCA Theatre Arts Company “PAG-IBIG NI RAMA”, an adaptation of the Indian epic, Ramayana.
February 9, (Second day) LINGAP BERNADETTIAN, the Community Outreach arm of SBCA shall conduct medical outreach and feeding programs. This Activity is in full collaboration with the adopted Barangay Alabang chaired by Hon. Christine May Abas-Ding and the City Heath Office of Muntinupa City.
February 10, (Third day) The Office of the Research Director, in partnership with The National Association of Professional Teachers Inc. (NAPT) and Cagayan State University, College of Teacher Education (Andrew’s Campus), a National Research forum, with the theme: RIGOURS : The 2nd Annual SBCA Multi-Disciplinary Research in Higher Education. Dr. Teresita C. Fortuna, CESO III; President of Colegio de Muntinlupa shall deliver the keynote address. On this day, an Inter-School Cooking Skills Competition that is organized by the TVET Department will happen as well. An anticipated High Mass in honor of the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes shall be held in the afternoon.
February 11, (Fourth day) The highlight of the Ruby Anniversary is the GABI NG PARANGAL for the GAWAD GERTRUDES VIVO-CARLOS, coinciding with the PRESIDENT’S NIGHT at the Vivere Hotel and Resorts, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
