Sara vows jobs, livelihood training for PWDs
LAKAS-CMD and Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte vowed to help the next administration in providing more jobs and livelihood training for the Person with Disabilities (PWDs).
During her visit at the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) compound for a “meet and greet” with the PWDs of Quezon City’s third District, she reiterated how the PWDs in Davao City were given priority in terms of business and livelihood.
She said the City Government of Davao prioritizes the provision of their personally managed offices that will promptly cater to fellow PWDs’ needs.
Among the attendees in the event is Daisy Lumalang, 54, an orthopedic impaired since she was 2 years old, said she is thankful to Duterte for being passionate in serving the underprivileged, especially the PWD sector.
Mayor Sara has highlighted the importance of business security in different sectors stating that it is the “key to financial stability.”
