LAKAS-CMD and Hugpong ng Pagbabago vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte continued to encourage Filipinos to learn creating their own business stressing that this is one way to alleviate poverty.

During her campaign sortie in Pasay City, Mayor Sara urged the people, particularly the women, to be entrepreneurs to fight hunger, especially this pandemic.

Speaking before a huge crowd during a “meet and greet” at the Cuneta Astrodome, Duterte reiterated the need to establish educational programs concerning businesses.

She shared to the residents of Pasay one of her projects in Davao City, “Magnegosyo ‘Ta Day,” which aims to provide economic opportunities to residents for them to become productive.

The project also offers free education on business, and financial assistance to use as start-up capital.

Should she win the national elections in May, one of her priorities is to look into the business sector in providing economic stability.

Meanwhile, Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano has lauded Mayor Sara’s achievement in Davao City and then urged the residents to support the Uniteam vice presidential bet.

“We must choose someone like Sara who is service-driven so that we can continue to grow and develop as a Filipino nation.
