FORMER Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Director Sandra Cam announced on Wednesday that she is ready to support and assist the administration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. (PBBM).

Cam, who was acquitted on murder and frustrated murder charges filed against her, his son Marco Martin, and five others in connection with the killing of former Batuan, Masbate Vice Mayor Charlie Yuson and seriously wounding his companion on October 9, 2019, said in a press conference held at the office of her lawyers in Makati City that she “already forgiven” those who were behind her 20 months incarceration after she “became closer to God and (surrendered) her life to Him.”

However, she clarified that she will discuss with her lawyer if they wished to file necessary charges against those “who were behind the fabrication of evidence” that was used against her.

Cam said she also asked former Senator Leila de Lima to forgive her after she realized that she was allegedly used “as a tool” for the imprisonment of the former lawmaker.

”Humingi na ako ng kapatawaran at pagsisi sa aking pagkakamali. Restoration of our friendship is the most important than politics. Ang buhay na naranasan ko sa kulungan ay yan ang lakas na aking kinakapitan upang makamit ko ang hustiya at lalo kung matutulungan ang mga whistleblowers,” Cam, who is currently the president of Whistle Blower Association of the Philippines said.

When asked what support and assistance she will provide with the administration of PBBM, Cam said she is ready to be involved in the non-government organization (NGO) to help those who are less in life and disaster victims who need food and other assistance.

“Noon pa namang nasa PCSO ako, yung mga taong nangangailangan ng tulong ang agad kong tinutugunan, lalo na yung talagang mga tunay na maralita. Sa ganitong paraan, makakatulong ako sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos,” Cam said.
