San Jose City cops hunt theft suspects for P.4M house heist

SAN JOSE CITY – Three persons are now the subject of manhunt operations in this city after being tagged in a house robbery where some P400,000 worth of computers and other gadgets was stolen.

Police chief Lt. Col. Palmyra Guardaya ordered her men to immediately conduct “hot pursuit” operations against the three suspects who broke into the house in Maharlika Highway, Bgy. Abar 1st at 7:00 a.m. Friday.

Two HP (Hewlett-Packard) laptops were reported stolen, two Apple iPods, a Nintendo Switch handheld gaming console, and a mobile phone, all worth about P400,000.

Guardaya said the suspects barged into the house by destroying the front steel gate lock holder and forcibly opening the side sliding window of the house.

The town’s top cop said the two suspects are 18 to 17 years old and said to be residents of the same barangay.
