“Don’t downgrade your dream just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny,” mensahe niya sa kanyang IG.

“I humbly want to share that I have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the Philippine Women’s University under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). I am now gearing for PWU’s 99th Commencement Exercises at the Philippine Convention Center (PICC) next week.

“I would not have been able to successfully embark on my educational journey without the continuous guidance of PWU’s ETEEAP team of professionals and the immeasurable support of my loved ones.

“Because of my enduring commitment to continuously seeking knowledge and equipping myself with new skills that will help me poster and fulfill my dreams in the ever-changing global scene, I also proudly share with you that I am officially an MA-ComArts student at PWU. The journey continues—unstoppable!

“To God be the glory!” mahabang post ni Ruffa.

EARLY this month, actor, writer, director, producer and martial artist Ronnie Ricketts was acquitted by the Supreme Court sa graft charges hurled against him nung 2010 nung siya pa ang nakaupo bilang chairman and CEO ng Optical Media Board (OMB) na labis niyang ikinagulat at ikinalungkot dahil para sa kanya, ginampanan at tinupad lamang niya ang kanyang tungkulin.

In 2019, he was convicted by the Sandiganbayan of the graft charges but the decision was reversed by the Supreme Court.

“It was a long legal battle searching for the truth to come out,” simula ni Ronnie nang huli namin itong makausap kasama ang kanyang wife of 28 years, ang singer, actress-host na si Mariz.

Sa darating na December 18, 2022, Ronnie and Mariz will be celebrating their 29th anniversary bilang mag-asawa. The couple got married on December 18, 1993 and they have two beautiful grown-up daughters na sina Raechelle at panganay na si Marella na kasalukuyang nasa Paris where she’s working and at the same time taking her Masters.

“We’re blessed with our two lovely daughters na parehong lumaking mababait, God-centered and professionals,” proud na pahayag ni Mariz.

“But we will always be here for them. They will remain our babies,” pahayag pa ng misis ni Ronnie.

Ejercito. E.R. got the number of Mariz from his ex-girlfriend at ito’y kanyang ibinigay sa kaibigang si Ronnie.

It was on December 17, 1989 nang opisyal silang maging magkasintahan and four years later, nagpakasal sila nung December 18, 1993. Dahil dito, dalawang araw ang kanilang sini-celebrate hanggang ngayon, December 17 and 18 bilang couple.

Ronnie and Mariz have many things in common at kasama na rito ang pagiging homebodies.

When the couple are done with their respective works ay diretso sila ng bahay at pareho rin silang hands-on parents sa kanilang dalawang anak.

Regular pa ring nakakatanggap ng flowers si Mariz from her husband plus other surprises.

Samantala, Ronnie is currently working on a new script inspired ng kanyang mga experiences in life which he hopes na gawing pelikula soon.
