CEBU CITY – UNITEAM senatorial candidate Harry Roque has said Cebu must have its own Light Rail Transit (LRT) to facilitate easy travel and address the worsening traffic situation in the province.

Roque said the province needs a railway system that would connect northern and southern Cebu.

Sa tingin ko, it’s the trains that we need.

Aside from the railway system, Roque also assured Cebuanos that they would have potable water.

“Lulutasin natin ang malaking problema sa Cebu which is lack [of] potable water. Malaking problema po ito ng Cebu. Kagaya po ng isinusulong natin na right to water at food bill, bibigyan po natin ng sapat na potable water ang probinsya,” Roque said.

“We will work hard to make potable water for all Filipinos a reality by 2028,” he added.

Roque has been pushing for clean and potable water for every Filipino.
