“We convey my warmest greetings to our brothers and sisters in Iglesia ni Cristo on their joyful celebration of the Church’s 107th Anniversary. We also congratulate Ka Eduardo V. Manalo, the Iglesia ni

Cristo’s Executive Minister, for his exemplary leadership that led to a phenomenal growth in Church membership all over the world,” the Romualdez couple said.

Over the years, the Romualdezes said the “Brethren of Iglesia ni Cristo have shown us what servant-leadership is all about.”

“They have proven that one can help lead a nation by serving our people, faithfully and diligently,” they said.

The Romualdez couple said they are forever grateful to Iglesia ni Cristo for their impressive role in recovery and rehabilitation efforts in Eastern Visayas in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Yolanda.

“You were among the first to rush to our aid, at a time when our people needed it most. Your compassion in helping us rebuild our lives will be remembered in the years to come,” they said.

“We wish the Iglesia ni Cristo all the best as you propagate the faith in every part of the globe. May our Lord God continue to bless your efforts in spreading the good news of salvation and in living a life of good deed. Maraming salamat po sa serbisyo. Maraming salamat po sa malasakit,” they added.

Cavite Rep. Elpidio “Pidi” Barzaga Jr., Ako Bisaya party-list Rep. Sonny Lagon and Anakalusugan party-list Rep. Mike Defensor also congratulated the influential and well-respected Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) led by Executive Minister Manalo on their 107th anniversary.

“We wish the INC more numerical strength, recognition and continue to succeed in propagating the spiritual guidance, unity, good news and positive traits of the Filipinos,” said Barzaga. “Now under the able leadership of Ka Eduardo Manalo, the Iglesia ni Cristo has been relentless in continuing its mission of spreading the Gospel regardless of race and of bringing back compassion back into our lives.”

Lagon lauded the INC for its meaningful activities that concentrate on job creation, education, health and environmental assistance where even non-members have been benefitting.

“Iglesia ni Cristo has been responsible for helping the character formation of Filipinos, especially the youth in nation-building being one of the country’s moral compasses. Thank you Ka Eduardo for always being there to achieve social reforms and promoting public welfare through your passion of serving God and country,” said Lagon.

“We join the brethren of good will in congratulating the leaders and members of Iglesia ni Cristo led by Executive Minister Ka Eduardo V. Manalo as they celebrate 107 years in exemplary service to the worthy cause of the Lord,” Lagon said.

Defensor said the Iglesia ni Cristo’s devotion to the abiding truth of God’s love has helped the revival of “bayanihan” among Filipinos.

“We are so fortunate to have Iglesia ni Cristo whose leadership has been consistently behind humanitarian activities nationwide and some parts of the world through Lingap sa Mamamayan socio-civic program,” Defensor pointed out. “This world class initiative has shown the whole world that ‘Bayanihan’ spirit is doing great and alive here in our country and our people will forever remember this.”

For more than a century, Defensor said the Iglesia ni Cristo has proven itself to be a caring shepherd not only in service of God but also in promoting the welfare of believers in all parts of the world.

For sowing the seeds of this Christian faith and brotherhood, Defensor said they are eternally grateful to its Founder, Ka Felix V. Manalo.
