TACLOBAN City — Lakas-CMD president House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez is confident that the UniTeam tandem of former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte will continue building on the wide voter support they enjoy.

Romualdez has expressed gratitude to the people who trust and believe in the BBM-Sara tandem.

Based on Pulse Asia’s March survey, 56 percent of voters would most likely choose BBM and Mayor Sara.

“We thank our people for keeping faith with our candidates. We pray that they will continue supporting them and sharing and spreading their message of hope, unity and patriotism,” Romualdez said.

He said UniTeam would revisit the areas around the country where it has campaigned and try to reach out to the remotest communities in the remaining days of the campaign.

“As Mayor Sara has stated, we have a running-scared mindset. We will do our utmost to improve our candidates’ 56-percent voter support. We remain hopeful of a landslide victory,” Romualdez added.

Mayor Sara is seeking the vice presidency under Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), which she chairs. Marcos Jr. is standard-bearer of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).

The UniTeam will barnstorm Samar-Leyte in the coming days.
