SPEAKER Martin G. Romualdez on Monday congratulated the Philippine pool trio for winning the 2022 Predator World Teams 10-ball Championship in Klagenfurt, Austria last Sunday.

Romualdez thanked Carlo Biado, Rubilen Amit and Johann Chua for bringing pride and glory to the country after defeating Great Britain with a dominant 3-0 victory in the final.

“Another reason for the Filipino nation to be jubilant. Congratulations Team Philippines for winning the 2022 World-10 Ball Teams Championship Title in Klagenfurt, Austria,” Romualdez said.

“Your names— Carlo Biado, Rubilen Amit, and Johann Chua— will remain etched in the memories of Filipinos for generations to come,” Romualdez added.

“You have shown the Filipinos worldwide that with teamwork and unity, we win as one! Maraming salamat sa karangalang ito. Mabuhay kayo! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!,” the Speaker stressed.

The trio defeated British trio of Jayson Shaw, Kelly Fisher, and Darren Appleton to bag the gold medal and the lion’s share of the $138,000 (P7.8 million) prize pool.
