Edward Solon Hagedorn.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our cherished colleague, Rep. Edward Solon Hagedorn. More than his roles in the political arena, Cong. Ed was a guiding light and inspiration to many of us personally. His passion for the environment, tourism, agriculture, and peace was not just a professional pursuit, but a reflection of his soul,” ani Speaker Romualdez sa pahayag na inilabas ng tanggapan nito.
“Every moment with Cong. Ed was filled with laughter, wisdom, and profound insights. His genuine warmth and ability to touch lives went beyond titles and protocols. To me, and many of us at the House of Representatives, he wasn’t just a colleague, he was family,” dagdag pa ng lider ng Kamara na may 310 miyembro.
“As we remember Cong. Ed, let us not only grieve his passing but also celebrate the inspiration he provided. His legacy calls us to continue his work with the same passion and love he demonstrated every day,” sabi pa ni Speaker Romualdez.
“I ask the nation to join me in extending our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. As they tread through this period of grief, may they find solace in the immense legacy he leaves behind and the countless lives he touched,” dagdag pa nito.
“To have known and worked with Cong. Ed has been an honor and a privilege. His spirit and legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire us all.”
Nagpahayag rin ng pakikiramay si Citizens Battle Aginst Corruption (CIBAC) partylist Rep. Bro.
“Mayor/Congressman Ed is a treasured gem in the annals of Philippine governance and politics. I am a personal witness not only to his outstanding and visionary leadership which catapulted the Underground River in Palawan to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a New Wonder of the World, but more to his exemplary self-less public service dedicated in helping the poor and the needy, especially the Palaweños,” ani Villanueva na isa ring malapit na kaibigan ni Hagedorn.
“But more to his accolades as a public servant, Congressman Ed, like me, was a former hopeless man who became recipient of God’s amazing love and a transformed life. His changed life has led many to come and receive God’s message of hope and love. He served his life to be an ambassador of God’s help to those who are in need. What a life full of earthly and eternal significance. I will greatly miss him,” ayon kay Villanueva.
“My deepest sympathies to his family. May we all find comfort in God’s surest promise in John 11:25 that those, including Cong Ed, who believe in Jesus, even though they die, will surely live in a far more greater place of God’s presence,” dagdag ni Villanueva.
