A 62-YEAR-OLD store owner was murdered by still unidentified robbers inside her house Wednesday in Purok 1, Bgy. Mamatid ,Cabuyao City, Laguna.buyao police chief , PLt. Brigido Salisi identified the slain victim as Primitiva Emboltorio.

The victim was hit by a hard object by the still unidentified suspects inside her house in Bgy. Mamatid, Cabuyao City.

Police are hunting down the suspect.

Initial investigation conducted by Cabuyao police said the robbery incident occurred at around 5 p.m.

Police gathered that the victim’s daughter arrived home and discovered her mother lifeless and bloodied on the floor beside the bed.

The witness immediately sought asssitance from Bgy. Mamatid tanods and local police.

Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) from the Regional Crime Laboratory 4A led by PMajor Aurey Renan Raner processed the crime scene.

Investigation showed no signs of forcible entry. Personal belongings were scattered, and cabinets were opened.

The victim sustained a hematoma in the right eye and was believed to have been hit by a hard object, causing her instantaneous death.

The suspects were believed to have taken P 5,000 in cash and a piggy bank jar filled with coins.

” Huling nakitang buhay ang biktima dakong alas 12:00 ng tanghali,” said an investigator.

The body of the victim was brought to John Paul Funeral Parlor at Bgy. Dita, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna for autopsy examination.
