Rider killed, 1 injured in Lipa motorcycle crash
A 23-YEAR-OLD motorcycle rider died after accidentally colliding with another motorcycle along a highway in Gen. Luna Street, Bgy. Sabang, Lipa City, Batangas, Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Lipa City Police said the fatality was a resident of Bgy. Natunuan South, San Pascual Batangas.
Investigation showed that on or about 2:30 a.m., the Honda Click motorcycle driven by the victim was traveling along Gen Luna St. in Bgy. Sabang, heading towards Lipa City’s proper direction, accidentally collided with one Motorstar motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.
The Honda Click rider was brought to San Antonio Medical Center for treatment but declared dead on arrival at about 3:21 a.m. of the same date by the attending physician Dra. Maria Clarita Dita.
Police discovered that the Motorstar’s rider had no driver’s license when the incident happened.
He was brought to Metro Lipa Medical Center and under medical treatment.
