Rep. Tulfo thanks God, Comelec on junking junking of 2nd DQ complaint
ACT-CIS Congressman Erwin Tulfo issued an official statement on the dismissal of the second petition seeking his disqualification, that was filed by a certain Bertini Causing.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) First Division junked another disqualification case that was filed by Causing against Cong. Tulfo.
The Comelec earlier dismissed the disqualification case that was filed by a certain Virgilio Garcia against Tulfo.
Tulfo said he is very grateful first to the Lord Almighty for continuously guiding him as he go through these challenges in his life.
Cong. Tulfo also thanked his legal team, led by Atty. Karen Jimeno, for tireless attending to these cases.
Most importantly, Tulfo said he is grateful for the continued trust and support of the people.
He said, “Ang desisyong ito ng COMELEC ay muling nagpapatunay ng mariin nitong pagbabantay para sa isang tapat, patas at may integridad na pagpapatupad ng mga batas hinggil sa halalan.”
