Regular disinfection at Caloocan city hall, vax-swab hubs, govt offices

THE Caloocan City government continued to conduct regular disinfection of the new Caloocan City Hall, including all public offices, vaccination sites and swab testing sites, every weekends.

Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan said the cleaning, decontamination and disinfection of all offices, common and working areas were regularly conducted every Saturdays and Sundays as a preventive measure following the spike of COVID-19 cases.

“Kailangan nating isagawa ang regular na disinfection, lalu na sa buong Caloocan City Hall upang mapanatiling malinis ang buong lugar at maiwasan ang banta ng virus,” Mayor Oca said.

Aside from regular disinfection, the city chief executive, instructed employees to lead in sanitizing and cleaning of their respective offices, especially areas frequently visited by people with transactions at the local government.

Mayor Oca also issued a directive to all security guards assigned at the city hall building to strictly enforce the minimum health standards such as use of face mask and physical distancing.

The Caloocan City Health Office reported on Saturday evening a total of 68,174 confirmed cases of COVID 19, 66,180 already recovered, 332 active cases, total deaths of 1,662 and 51 new cases as of 5 p.m., January 22, 2022.
