Registration for SAF 44 marathon now open
REGISTRATION is now open for all marathoners planning to join the Subic International Marathon 2025 with the theme “I Run for my Heroes.”
The event is in commemoration of the 10th year anniversary of the “Gallant 44” or the 44 commandos of the Philippine National Police Special Action Force (SAF) killed in Mamasapano last January 25, 2015.

The event will be held on February 1-2, 2025 inside the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) grounds starting from the Remy Field and ends at the SCTEX.
The “Gallant 44” were killed while in a mission to neutralize Zulkfilli bin Hir alias ‘Marwan.’
The event, to be held with the support of the SBMA and X-Tribe, is expected to attract around 5,000 runners, government workers, students and fun run fans.
The event launch was held at the Subic Riviera Hotel inside SBMA with Maj. Gen. Banac, SBMA Tourism Department manager Mary Ann Jem Camba, SBMA chairman Eduardo Jose Aliño, SBMA board director Raul Marcelo, XTribe/race director Rosalyn Imperio and representatives of SIM 2025.
