‘Rapist’ who passed away gets arrest warrant
A MOST wanted person or MWP for “rape” was already “deceased” when authorities tried to serve an arrest warrant at his home in Barangay San Mariano, San Pascual in Batangas Monday.
According to San Pascual Municipal Police Station (MPS) Chief P/Maj. Ricaredo D. Dalisay, the suspect who had already passed away, was a resident of Bgy. San Mariano.
Personnel of San Pascual MPS served the warrant of arrest against the suspect in his residence around 1:45 p.m., listed as an MWP at the municipal level and was issued by Acting Presiding Judge Myla Villavicencio Olan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 8 of Batangas City dated March 21, 2022, with a recommended bail of P150,000.
However, upon serving of warrant, a copy of the death certificate was presented by a member of his family to prove that the suspect accused died on January 21, 2022.
