IMPORT Ryan Pearson finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists as Rain or Shine Elasto Painters snapped a two-game losing skid and boosted their playoff hopes following a 116-97 victory over Blackwater Bossing in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Pearson went 9-of-15 in 30 minutes of action for the Elasto Painters.

Rey Nambatac added 21 points and seven rebounds.

Anton Asistio and Norbert Torres chipped in 13 points each.

With the win, theYeng Guiao-mentored Elasto Painters improved their record to 5-6 and tied Phoenix Super LPG at seventh place.

“Mabigat ‘yung huling kalaban namin, Magnolia. But gumaganda naman laro ng import namin. He’s playing better, he’s actually more efficient now, he’s rebounding better, mas gamay na niya mga kasama niya,” said Guiao in an interview posted at the official PBA website..

“May isang linggo kaming mag-prepare para sa Magnolia so gagawin namin makakaya namin para at least maganda ipakita naming laban,”

Cameron Krutwig led the Bossing’s losing effort with 23 points on 8-of-21 shooting in 45 minutes on top of 17 rebounds.

Jollo Go added 18 points for coach Ariel Vanguardia.

Trevis Jackson had 13 points while Rey Suerte contributed 12 points.

With the loss, the Bossing ended their campaign with 3-9 win-loss record.
