Quezon cops nab 2 drug suspects, seize P2.5M shabu
CANDELARIA, Quezon – Anti-narcotics operatives on Wednesday arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized more than P2,500,000 worth of illegal drugs at Barangay Masin Norte, here.
Quezon police director Col. Ledon Monte said operatives of Candelaria Police Station under Lt. Col. Dennis de Leon collared a mechanic, 42, of Bgy. San Isidro and a construction worker, 38, of Bgy. Poblacion, both in this town.
Monte said the former was included in the list of “high-value individuals” (HVI), and the laborer is a street-level individual in the illegal drug trade.
The drug sting was conducted in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Quezon.
Recovered were 14 plastic sachets of shabu weighing 123.7 grams and valued at P2,523,480 and the marked money.
