QCRTC judge appointed to Sandiganbayan

QUEZON City regional trial court judge Arthur Oliveros Malabaguio was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as new associate justice of the Sandiganbayan.

Malabaguio assumed the post left vacant by the demise of associate justice Reynaldo P. Cruz in 2020.

His appointment was contained in a transmittal letter from Malacañang to Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo.

Also, lawyer Salex Espinosa Alibogha was appointed by Duterte as new member of the Legal Education Board (LEB) representing the ranks of Active Law Practitioners.

He assumed the post from Abelardo Damondon who ended his term on January 13, 2020.

Alibogha’s appointment was contained in a transmittal letter from Malacañang to Gesmundo.

He will serve as LEB member until January 14, 2025.

The LEB is an independent agency that regulates legal education in the country.
