QCPD nabs 2 MWPs in QC, Bulacan

OPERATIVES of the Batasan Police Station (PS 6) and Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) arrested two most wanted persons in latest anti-criminality operations on Monday in Quezon City and Bulacan.

PLTCol. Alexy Sonido, PS 6 commander, identified the accused as Diosdado Verzo, 57, who was arrested at about 7:15 p.m. of October 18, 2021 in his residence on Katarungan St., Brgy. Commonwealth, Quezon City.

Verzo is reportedly listed as District Level Most Wanted Person and has a pending warrant of arrest for Rape docketed under Criminal Case No. Q-07-145750 issued by Judge Elsa I De Guzman, of Branch 89, Regional Trial Court, National Capital Judicial Region, Quezon City with no bail recommended.

Meanwhile, the Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) arrested its No. 4 Most Wanted Person at about 4:15 p.m. of October 18, 2021 in front of Starmall located along Kaypian St., Brgy. Kaypian, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan.

PLTCol. Alex DJ Alberto, PS 10 commander, identified the accused as Robert Nool, 18, and a resident of Northbridge Drive Subdivision, Brgy. Sto. Cristo, San Jose Del Monte City.

Nool has a pending warrant of arrest for rape docketed under Criminal Case No. R-QZN-19-02914-CR issued by Judge Roslyn M. Rabra-Tria, of Branch 94, Regional Trial Court, Quezon City with no bail recommended.

The courts of origin will be notified on the arrest of the Wanted Persons.

PBGen. Antonio C. Yarra, District Director of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), commended the untiring dedication of QCPD in tracking down Wanted Persons that led to the implementation of warrants of arrest.

“Binabati ko ang ating kapulisan sa kanilang walang humpay na paghahanap ng mga taong may mga nakabinbing mga kaso. Hindi tayo titigil sa ating amga isinasagawang nti-criminality operations upang mahuli ang mga may sala sa batas,” he added.
