QUEZON City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Brigadier General Nicolas D. Torre III said that additional criminal charges will be filed against the leader of Dioquino Carnapping Group, listed as district-level “most wanted person” (MWP) and a resident of Parang, Marikina City.
It can be recalled that the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of PD (Presidential Decree) 1612 or the Anti-Fencing Law last January 10, 2023, along G. At about 6:00 p.m. of January 12, 2023, two victims personally appeared before the office of DSOU and positively identified the suspect as the one who is responsible for stealing their motorcycles.
According to the victims, their motorcycles were parked in front of their respective houses last December 14, 2022 and January 3, 2023. However, upon checking the next day, the said motorcycles were already missing.
DSOU operatives showed the recovered motorcycles under the suspect’s possession and positively identified their stolen motorcycles.
