QCPD cops seize P1.4M worth of shabu, collar 9 drug suspects
QUEZON City Police District’s campaign against illegal drugs led to the arrest of nine drug suspects and confiscation of P1,428,000 worth of shabu.
The anti-drug operations were carried out by the Fairview Police Station 5 under PLt. Col. Richard Mepania and Batasan Police Station 6 under PLt. Col. Romil Avenido.
Based on the report, PS 5 arrested Johnmark Kusain, 26; Niño Dael, 30; and Lee Longay, 30, at 3:00 a.m. of November 15 along Regalado Ave., cor. Bulova St., Brgy. Greater Fairview, Quezon City.
Confiscated from their possessions were 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000, one dark blue pouch and the buy-bust money.
The PS 6 arrested Mark Joshua Abuyen, 26; and Roselle Lacsa, 23, at 5:55 p.m. of November 14, 2024 along IBP road, Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
Confiscated from the two were 100 grams of shabu worth P80,000, a Yamaha Aerox motorcycle, two helmet, two cellular phones, red pouch, violet coin purse and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be charged for violating RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
