QCPD chief relieves cops in road rage issue
QUEZON City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan announced the relief of six police officers to give way to a fair investigation if there are lapses in handling the investigation of the Road-Rage incident in Welcome Rotonda
Upon assumption of PBGEN Maranan on September 4, 2023, he pledged to maintain a safe and peaceful community in Quezon City.
“Sama sama nating patutunayan na ang pulis QC ay laging respetado ang mamamayan.
“We are here to serve, protect, and uplift our community in every way possible”, Maranan added.
The three personnel from Galas Police Station (PS 11) and three personnel from the District Traffic Enforcement Unit (DTEU) were relieved and immediately reassigned to the District Personnel Holding and Accounting Section (DPHAS) effective September 4, 2023.
