QUEZON City 4th District Representative Marvin Rillo is grateful to the public for the “exceptionally” high job performance approval rating he received in a survey that put him in the company of some of the most highly respected members of Congress from Metro Manila.

“We are very thankful for the support. The poll results have inspired us to work even harder to serve our constituents,” Rillo, a member of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), said.

Rillo was responding to the outcome of the independent, non-commissioned “House of Representatives Public Satisfaction Survey” conducted November 27 to December 2, 2022 by RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc.

In that survey, Rillo received a job performance approval rating score of 88% – the highest among all the six district representatives from Quezon City.

Among all the members of Congress from the National Capital Region (NCR), Rillo also ranked no. 3 in terms of approval rating, after Navotas City lone district Rep. Tobias Tiangco who ranked no. 1 with a 93% score, and Caloocan City first district Rep. Oscar Malapitan who ranked no. 2 with 91%.

Caloocan City third district Rep. Dean Asistio ranked no. 4 with 86%, and Las Piñas City lone district Rep. Camille Villar ranked no. 5 with 85%.

The survey was conducted per district in every region throughout the county, with a total of 10,000 respondents who were asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of the way [name of District Representative] is handling his/her job as Congressman/Congresswoman?”

According to the polling firm, the ratings and rankings were heavily reliant on work performance in terms of representation, legislation, and constituent service.

Each district representative was assessed by their constituents and then ranked based on the ratings they received.
