
Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival level up ang ikalawang edisyon
IKALAWANG taon pa lang ng Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival pero kapansin-pansin na nag-level-up at star-studded agad ito sa pagsali ng ilan sa mga sikat na artista ngayong taon.
Katunayan, sa katatapos na launch na ginanap sa Artson Events Place, Quezon City, namataan ang mga tulad nina KD Estrada, Alexa Ilacad, Kira Balinger, Jameson Blake, JC Santos, Romnick Sarmenta, Ruby Ruiz, Allen Dizon, atbp.
Dumalo rin sa okasyon para magbigay-suporta ang National Artist na si Ricky Lee, pati na ang festival director na si Chris Cahilig at mga representative ng Puregold CinePanalo partners na MTRCB, Gateway Cineplex 18, Mowelfund, Terminal Six, CMB Films at MFP Rentals.
Bale walo ang entries sa full-length film category. Ito ay ang “Sepak Takraw” ni Mes de Guzman, starring Enzo Osorio, Nicollo Castillo, Ruby Ruiz and Acey Aguilar; “Olsen’s Day” ni JP Habac na pinagbibidahan nina Khalil Ramos, Romnick Sarmenta at child actor Xander Nuda; “Tigkiliwi“ ni Tara Illenberger starring Ruby Ruiz (in her second Puregold CinePanalo feature), Gabby Padilla and Julian Paul Larroder; “Journeyman” nina JC Santos at Jasmine Curtis-Smith sa direksyon nina Christian Paolo at Dominic Lat; “Salum” nina Allen Dizon at Christine May Dimaisip na dinirek ni TM Malones; Jill Singson Urdaneta’s “Co-Love,” featuring KD Estrada, Alexa Ilacad, Jameson Blake and Kira Balinger; ang docu ni Baby Ruth Villarama na “Food Delivery: Fresh from the West Philippine Sea”; at “Fleeting” nina Janella Salvador at RK Bagatsing na directorial debut ni Catsi Catalan.
Ang bawat isa sa mga nabanggit na pelikula ay tumanggap ng P3,000,000 film grant each habang ang 24 student filmmakers naman na masuwerteng nakapasok ngayong taon ay tumanggap ng tig-P150,000.
Sabi nga ni Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, senior marketing manager ng Puregold, “After an intensely competitive application period, these directors came out on top of the heap. We know they will produce excellent, gripping work and we can’t wait to share these with the viewing public at the upcoming festival.”

Ang 2025 Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival ay tatakbo mula March 14 hanggang 25 sa Gateway Cineplex 18.
