WHAT’S the latest in the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC)?

PSC Commissioner Charles Raymond Maxey will provide the answers in this Thursday’s “Usapang Sports on Air” by the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) via Zoom.

Maxey, a former sports editor of Sun Star Davao before his appointment to the government sports agency in 2016, will talk about the country’s preparations for the coronavirus-delayed Olympic Games in Tokyo and the Southeast AsianGames in Hanoi.

The newest partnership between MILO and the Philippine Jump Rope Association (PJRA) will also be discussed during the weekly forum sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

Milo Business Executive Officer Veronica Cruz, Department of Education Undersecretary Tonisito Umali and PJRA president Noel Agra will talk about their latest collaboration aimed at introducing jump sport as a home-based sport to Filipino children.

The program is also part of the World Milk Day celebrations observed every June 1.

TOPS president Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight is inviting all officers and members and friends in the sports community to join the weekly sports forum.

This is the 22ns session for the year and first for the month of TOPS, which is composed of editors, columnists, reporters and photographers of the country’s leading national tabloids and friends from different social media groups.

Veteran sportscaster Ernest Leo Hernandez is the moderator.
