PRO4-B cops net Palawan’s MWP
POLICE Regional Office (PRO) 4-B director, Brigadier General Joel B. Doria, on Monday, announced the capture of one of Mimaropa region’s “most wanted person” (MWP) during a manhunt operation in Palawan province.
The official said the suspect, with the alias “Mickey,” is the subject of a non-bailable warrant of arrest for two counts of rape by carnal knowledge issued by the Taytay, Palawan Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 14.
According to Doria, the suspect who has been listed as the no. 1 MWP in Palawan, was tracked down in his hiding place in Barangay Abaroan in Roxas municipality past 11 a.m. Friday (May 26).
Members of the Roxas Municipal Police Station (MPS), the Palawan Police Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), the PRO4-B Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), and the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) arrested the suspect.
The suspect is now being held at the Roxas police jail pending his presentation to court and issuance of official jail commitment order, said Doria.
