PRO3 neutralizes 4 drug suspects, nab 141, seize P263M shabu in a week
ELEMENTS of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 neutralized four drug personalities while 141 others were arrested and confiscated more than P263 million worth of shabu in weeklong operations.
PRO 3 Regional Director, Police/Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon said they conducted continuous police operations to eradicate illegal activities especially and the illegal drug trade, which is the priority program of President Rodrigo Duterte.
A report submitted to de Leon showed PRO 3 conducted 96 police operations which resulted in the arrest of 141 drug personalities and killing of one person from October 8 to 14.
The operations also resulted with a total confiscation of 201.921 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P1,373,062 and 1,006 grams of marijuana with an estimated value of P120,720.00.
All the arrested drug personalities were properly charged in court.
PNP and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) personnel conducted a buy bust which resulted in the arrest of five more drug personalities in Subic, Zambales.
Authorities seized 19 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P129,200.
In another buy-bust operation which resulted in the neutralization of four Chinese drug personalities in Angeles City, Pampanga where they confiscated 38,000 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P262,200,200.
On anti-illegal gambling, a total of 28 operations were conducted which resulted to 115 persons arrested and confiscation of money amounting to P28,720.
De Leon again commended all their police personnel who are committed in ensuring peace and order in their region.
