CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon scolded the police officer who was arrested along with two cohorts for drug peddling in Tarlac.
De Leon, who visited the Gerona police station last Monday where PCpl. Geymar Orquero is being held, said the cop will be facing administrative and criminal charges.
“Your actions were a complete betrayal of public trust and confidence. You should be ashamed not just with yourself but to your family. You have no place in the PNP and you will rot in jail,” an irked De Leon told Orquero.
“May this serve as a stern warning to all who are still involved in illegal activities, we will never tolerate any wrong doings,” De Leon said.
Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. De Leon personally handed over financial assistance to the bereaved families of the late PSSgs. Allan Capinpin and Aries Dichoso.
The Central Luzon police director vowed that the police will continue to fight all forms of crimes and illegal operations to guarantee that peace and order is maintained in the region.
