POLICE Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) Director Brigadier General Benjamin H. Silo Jr. on Monday said his men are still “hot on the prowl” of three armed men who staged a daring robbery-holdup inside a local business office in Davao de Oro on Saturday and fled with an estimated P200,000 worth of cash and other valuables including a security guards’ service firearm.

An investigation showed that the suspects arrived at the Mindanao Omega Industries Corporation’s office in Purok 3A, Barangay Linoan in Montevista, Davao de Oro, around 9:20 a.m. Saturday (December 3), and at gunpoint, immediately disarmed the security guard of his service caliber .38 revolver.

They later held three company employees at gunpoint and ransacked the office before fleeing with P200,000 in cash, a passbook, two cellphones, and two company-owned handheld two-way radios.

The robbers fled the area on board two motorcycles and were last seen heading towards the direction of Nabunturan, Davao de Oro.

Silo said that members of the Montevista Municipal Police Station led by Captain Alvin Atienza rushed to the site to investigate the robbery-holdup incident.
