Principal shot in Nueva Ecija
RIDING-in-tandem gunmen shot a school principal Tuesday in front of the school gate in Bgy. Sto. Tomas North, Jaen, Nueva Ecija.
In a report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the victim was identified as Reden Marquez, 49, of Bgy. Niyugan, Jaen. Marquez is the principal of Sto. Tomas North Elementary School.
Police said two men wearing black helmets and jackets alighted from their motorcycle then approached the SUV (CAF 8643) of the suspect that stopped in front of the school then shot the victim several times.
The victim was immediately rushed to the Nueva Ecija Medical Center.
