Laguna gov introduces BBM as
SANTA Cruz, Laguna – TOP local officials of this vote-rich province were in full force Friday during a UniTeam campaign grand rally that attracted a huge crowd.
Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) stalwart Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez led the holding of rally for Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) standard-bearer former Sen. Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) at the Provincial Capitol here.
“Aking pong karangalan, na ipakilala sa inyo, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.,” Hernandez said on stage as he introduced the presidential candidate.
On the other hand, the top Laguna executive introduced Duterte as “Vice President Inday Sara Duterte.”
Marcos and Duterte received the loudest cheers from the audience, who were too elated to mind the hot summer weather.
During the rally, Hernandez acknowledged the presence of Vice Governor Karen Agapay as well as the 18 mayors of Laguna led by mayors’ league president Edgar Ramos.
Also on hand were members of the UniTeam senatorial slate, namely, Sherwin Gatchalian, Loren Legarda, Mark Villar, Migz Zubiri, Harry Roque, Herbert Bautista, Jinggoy Estrada, Gregorio Honasan, Dante Marcoleta, Robin Padilla, Gibo Teodoro and Larry Gadon.
After the campaign activity, Hernandez hosted lunch for the survey leading UniTeam tandem and the rest of their team.
The UniTeam held a motorcade from Biñan City to Santa Rosa City.
The leading duo was scheduled to hold another grand rally Friday afternoon at Santa Rosa Sports Complex.
Earlier in the day upon their arrival in Laguna, Mayor Duterte and Lakas-CMD President House Majority Leader Martin G. Romualdez of Leyte’s First District paid a courtesy call to Hernandez.
