PRC rushes aid to Malabon fire victims
PRC AIDS MALABON FIRE VICTIMS — Last June 3, the Philippine Red Cross Malabon City Chapter headed by its Chairman, Federico Ricky Sandoval and honorary Chairman, Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, immediately provided hot meals (sopas) and non-food items such as mats, clothing, slippers, and toys to 220 fire-affected residents, including children in Brgy. Muzon, Malabon. “Communities in urbanized areas such as Malabon City are prone to fire incidents. The Philippine Red Cross has volunteers, firefighters, and staff trained and prepared to immediately respond to this kind of incident,” said PRC Chairman and CEO Richard J. Gordon.
