IPINAGMALAKI ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na mas makatao, makatotohanan at hindi madugo ang police operation ng Philippine National Police (PNP).

Ginawa ni Pangulong Marcos ang pahayag sa 123rd Police Service Anniversary sa Camp Crame, Quezon City.

Pinuri din ni Pangulong Marcos si PNP chief General Rommel Francisco Marbil.

“I salute all of the officers and personnel of the PNP, under the current leadership of Police General Rommel Marbil,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“His (Marbil) tenure over the past months has been filled with noteworthy reforms and achievements that we can proudly present to the Filipino public,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Naging agresibo aniya ang PNP sa reporma para makamit ang adhikain na peace and order.

Dahil aniya sa pinalakas na patrol operations at police deployment, bumaba ang krimen sa bansa.

Narespondehan din aniya ng PNP sa pamumuno ni Marbil ng 99 percent ang police assistance sa pamamagitan ng tawag sa telepono.

Ayon sa PNP, nasa 16,634 illegal drug operations ang isinagawa mula Abril 1 hanggang Hulyo 31 na nagresulta sa neutralization ng 20,286 drug personalities at pagkakumpiska ng P13.72 bilyong halaga ng bilyon ng illegal drugs.

“Our crackdown on illegal drugs, smuggling, illegal gambling, private armed groups, human trafficking, and criminality has also strengthened significantly in ways that are not only effective but legal and lawful,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“Indeed, police operations are now conducted as humane, as truthful, and as bloodless as possible,” dagdag ni Pangulong Marcos.
