Police nabs motorcycle rider with bolo
GABALDON, Nueva Ecija – A man driving a motorcycle was arrested for possessing a bolo found tied to his left leg during checkpoint operations on early Tuesday morning.
Nabbed was George Ecleo Jr., 26, of Bgy. Sapang Buho, Palayan City.
Major Aniceto L. Caraang, town police head said the suspect was accosted at a checkpoint in Bgy. North Poblacion at 1:50 a.m.
Caraang said Ecleo, who was driving a red Rusi motorcycle, was flagged down by operatives, who saw in plain sight the bolo strapped to his left leg, resulting to his arrest.
The suspect and the seized evidence were brought to the police station for documentation prior to the filing of charges against the suspect.
