A MAN accused of posting the nude photos of his live-in partner on social media is now in jail after being arrested by agents of the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) in Bohol province, PNP-ACG director, Brigadier General Robert T. Rodriguez said on Saturday.

In a report to PNP chief Gen. Dionardo B. Carlos, the official said that the suspect was described only as a 27-year-old resident of Bien Unido, Bohol, and was collared on the strength of a warrant for violation of Article 282 of the Revised Penal Code or grave threats in relation to Republic Act 10175 of the Anti-Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 and RA 995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.

Rodriguez said that the criminal charges were filed against the accused by his own live-in partner after he posted the latter’s nude photos online.

Gen. Carlos commended the PNP-ACG for its latest accomplishment against wanted cybercrime offenders in the country.

“It is through the vigilance of the community and our advance tracking system that our police personnel were able to easily track the wanted suspect,” the top cop said.
