PH Red Cross administers booster shots in Bataan
AS booster shots are now available for the Covid-19 priority groups A1-A3, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has now administered booster doses to 22 individuals in the PRC Bataan Bakuna Center last Nov. 22, 2021.
“As the country’s premier humanitarian organization, the PRC is fully involved in going the extra mile to help our fellow countrymen. We will perpetually be on the lookout to find ways to be always first, always ready, always there,” PRC Chairperson and CEO Senator Richard Gordon said in a media release on Tuesday.
As of Nov. 22, 2021, the PRC has administered more than 550,000 doses while fully vaccinating more than 239,000 individuals in their 25 Bakuna Buses and 17 Bakuna Centers.
Meanwhile, the PRC is just waiting for the green light from the Department of Health (DOH) to begin administering booster shots to Covid-19 priority groups to the rest of the PRC Bakuna Centers.
