PH House Committee on Ethics and Privileges conduct study visit
To learn from US experience
DURING their courtesy call with the Ambassador, the committee held discussions with officials of the Philippine Embassy to explore legislative opportunities and discuss the latest developments in Philippines-U.S. relations.
The purpose of the study visit is to gain insights on the Ethics Code of Conduct of the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and its Rules of Proceedings vis-à-vis the Code of Conduct in the Rules of the Philippine House of Representatives and the Committee’s Rules of Procedure.
During their visit, the Philippine legislators were briefed by officials of both the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics and the U.S. House Committee on Ethics.
