THE Philippines completed a sweep of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the two-match women’s international friendlies following a come-from-behind 2-1 victory Sunday at the Matija Gubec Stadium in Krsko, Slovenia.
Quinley Quezada scored the 85th minute equalizer while Katrina Guillou produced the late winner five minutes later for the Filipinas to cap their European camp on a high note.
The Bosnians opened the scoring in the first half courtesy of Selma Kapetanovic’s 11th minute goal.
The World Cup-bound Philippines also defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1-0, on Wednesday to bounce back from a 0-1 loss to No. 27 Ireland earlier in the week
The friendlies is part of the Filipinas’ build-up to the AFF Women’s Championship which opens next week.
