PDEA smashes 2 drug dens, nabs 13 in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Two suspected drug dens were dismantled on Monday in separate operations that resulted in the apprehension of 13 drug suspects and the seizure of some P186,300 worth of shabu in this city.
The anti-drug operations were conducted by members of the PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency) Pampanga Provincial Office and PDEA-3 Special Enforcement Section.
The first operation was launched on Roxas Street, Barangay Dau, which led to the arrest of eight drug suspects.
The second drug sting was conducted on the same street where five suspects were nabbed.
The two operations yielded more or less 27 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P186,300, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.
All the suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
