PDEA raids Bacoor drug den, 12 ‘druggies’ nabbed
BACOOR CITY, Cavite – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 4A as lead agency with Bacoor City Police Station, and Cavite Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit dismantled a drug house in a buy-bust operation at Silangan St., Bgy. Talaba 7, Bacoor City, Cavite, March 10, 2022.
During the simultaneous operations, several drug personalities identified as Maila Vasquez as the drug den co-maintainer, 28; alias “Bato”, the subject of drug operation and at-large; Jayson Lopez, subject of Oplan “Puting Bato”, 31; Ruel Bertudez, 39, and Jeffrey Supil Matarong, 34.
Also arrested were Alejandro Estrada, 24; Denver Paquingan, 31; Jonathan Francisco, 27; Ariel Madrelejos, 43; Ismael Sanman, 38; Ramil Malinao, 19; and Rommel Depano, 45; – the authorities were able to seize 35 grams of illegal drugs worth P241,500 including different drug paraphernalia.
PDEA 4A said that the illegal drug den crackdown assures the public that the operations were legitimate and was a result of a series of surveillance, casing operations to identify the subject of the operation and all other illegal drug personalities going in and out of the area.
“Ang PDEA katuwang ang kapulisan ng PRO4A (Police Regional Office 4A) ay sinisigurado na ang naganap na pagsalakay sa isang drug den sa Cavite ay isang lehitimong operasyon. Ito po ay bahagi pa rin ng ating kampanya laban sa iligal na droga upang tuluyan na nating malinis ang ating komunidad sa salot na dulot ng iligal na droga, salungat sa pahayag ng ibang komunistang grupo. Lubos po naming binibigyang halaga ang karapatang pantao ng bawat isa,” Police Regional Director PRO-4A PBrig. Gen Antonio Yarra said.
