PDEA agents collar 2 drug suspects, seize P7.1M shabu
AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested two drug trafficking suspects and seized more than a kilo of shabu worth P7.140 million in a buy-bust in Caloocan City last Saturday, PDEA Director General Moro Virgilio M. Lazo reported.
Arrested at 6127 Zapote Road corner Ilang-Ilang St. in Brgy. 177, Caloocan City were Raquel Macmod, 33, of La Forteza St., Brgy. 175, Camarin, Caloocan City; and Abdulbasit Ali, 34, of Jose P. Rizal St., Upper Bicutan, Taguig City.
The two were arrested at around 12:55 a.m. Saturday while conspiring to sell prohibited drugs to an undercover officer of the PDEA National Capital Region.
Recovered from the duo were bags containing 1,000 grams of shabu, five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 50 grams of the same drug and buy-bust money.
The suspects’ white Toyota Vios was impounded by the PDEA.
