PHILIPPINE Christian University and Asian Institute of Maritime Studies posted similar impressive victories over their respectively rivals in the third Philippine University Basketball League (PUBL) at the Lam An Sports gym In Abad Santos, Manila.

The Blue Sharks, on the other hand, overpowered Tarlac State University, 86-75, to register their first win.
Handled hy coach Amante Flores, AIMS relied on JB Odvina, Karlos Lapira, Jerico Peralta and Renz Gerald Ladres to roll back the Firefox.
Odvina topscored with 23 points, followed by Lapira and Peralta with 14 points apiece and Ladres with 10 points.
