The Dolphins crushed defending champion University of Perpetual Help Dalta System, 88-70, for their third straight win and the solo lead in this six-team tournament organized by Basketball Assosiation of the Philippines (BAP) in cooperation with Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (FESSAP).

Jose Adrian Antonio scattered a game-high 21 points for the Taft-based squad of Athletic Director Dr. Bambeng Iljiran and coach Oscar Simon.

Yam Conception added 17 poinlts, Marcus Ramos had 12 points and Kenneth Obioha and Castor Manipulo contributed 10 points each for PCU.

John Llamado and John Pareja scored 20 and 13 points for the Altas, who suffered its second straight loss.

The Blue Sharks, on the other hand, overpowered Tarlac State University, 86-75, to register their first win.

Handled hy coach Amante Flores, AIMS relied on JB Odvina, Karlos Lapira, Jerico Peralta and Renz Gerald Ladres to roll back the Firefox.

Odvina topscored with 23 points, followed by Lapira and Peralta with 14 points apiece and Ladres with 10 points.

Paul John Ocampo topscored with 17 points for Tarlac State University. AA
