STARTING Dec. 31, 2024, the airing of PCSO lottery draw will be seen on IBC-13 and D8TV. This has been announced in a recent press conference held at Mt. Fuji restaurant in Manila Polo Club with International Broadcasting Corp. (IBC) president and chief executive Jimmie Policarpio Jr., Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) assistant general manager for gaming sector Lauro Patiag and Digital 8TV president Jay Ruiz in attendance.

The PCSO Lottery Draw will feature popular lotto games such as Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, Mega Lotto 6/45 and Lotto 6/42 and will also carry the 6D, 4D, 3D and 2D Lotto which will broadcast live from Monday to Sunday.

This aims to expand the reach of PCSO and give Filipinos in far flung areas the opportunity to follow the government supported lotto games.

According to the TV and PCSO executives, for the first time since the lotto draws started airing decades ago, bettors can now watch it by tuning to both analog and digital IBC-13 and D8TV channels, plus IBC DWAN 1206AM band. Livestreams will also be available on the official online platforms, including the websites, PCSO Facebook pages and Youtube channels of said platforms.

IBC-13 president and CEO Jimmie Policarpio highlights a strong partnership with PCSO citing the network’s new and higher capabilities after the launch this December of their new digital terrestrial TV (DTT) transmitters in Baguio, covering Northern Luzon and in Davao, covering Southeastern Mindanao. Through their DTT stations in Iloilo and Cebu, IBC13 reaches the Visayas, and soon, it will be followed by the digitalization of Laoag and Cagayan de Oro, and the rise of original digital stations in other parts of the country.

Aside from the lotto draws, IBC13 is set to launch new infotainment shows in 2025.

But their biggest aim, on top of the entertainment values, is raising the bar in getting more funds for “health programs, and other charitable efforts to aid Filipinos in need, the mandate which PCSO continues to prioritize.”
